INSTALLATION NOTES

The Falcon™ LED Tri-Proof Light supports two primary installation methods. Both are described briefly below. Refer to the full installation documentation included with each fixture for detailed step-by-step instructions and wiring diagrams.

 

Method A: Surface Mounting

• Locate drill points per bracket template; mount brackets to ceiling or structural surface using hardware provided
• Secure mounting clips into housing recesses until both sides are fully engaged
• Release latches and detach LED tray/lens assembly without touching LED boards
• Connect power leads per the general wiring diagram (120–277V input; Black=Line, White=Neutral, Green=Ground)
• For dimming, connect Purple (Dim+) and Pink (Dim-) to IEC 0–10V compliant controller output
• Reattach LED tray, secure lens latches, and restore power from circuit breaker

 

Method B: Chain-Suspended Mounting

• Attach V-brackets to mounting clips by spreading bracket ends and inserting legs into clip side holes
• Hang fixture from customer-supplied chain using V-brackets at desired height
• Proceed with wiring and lens reattachment as described in Method A (Steps 5–9)

 

IMPORTANT: Always de-energize the circuit at the main breaker before installation or maintenance. Commercial luminaire installation must be performed by a licensed electrician. Verify supply voltage matches luminaire rating before energizing. Suitable for wet locations only when installed per NEC requirements.
