LED PAR Lamps are an extremely efficient light source offering long life, low heat, uniform illumination and significant energy savings. PAR Lamps are also used extensively as aircraft landing lights and in locomotive and automotive headlamps. 

Parabolic Aluminized Reflector (PAR) is actually the description of the lamp or bulb that goes inside a PAR can. The can is the container where the PAR lamp or bulb goes. The number beside PAR is a measurement that describes the diameter of the PAR lamp or bulb.
